Prof. Dr. med. Alexandra Kohl Schwartz

Dr. Kohl Schwartz studied human medicine and obtained her doctorate at the University of Berne. Obtained the specialist title in gynecology and obstetrics at the University Hospital of Zurich. Subsequently worked as Resident at the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital and at the University Clinic for Gynecology at the Insel Hospital in Berne. In Berne, she received the specialist title in reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology, as well as an Executive MBA in Medical Management. Habilitation at the University of Berne on the topics of fertility and endometriosis, as well as the effects of fertility treatments on pregnancy, childbirth, and the health of children. 

Since 2020, she is Head of the Department of Reproductive Medicine and Gynecological Endocrinology at the Women's Clinic of the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital and since 2024, professional management of the OMVIA practice.

 

Prof. Dr. med. Kohl Schwartz is also the mother of two children.
